HELP PAKISTAN FLOOD DONATE NOW!

BOB has been touched by the plight of those in Pakistan, this is the worst disaster emergency on the planet today with 6 million people without food and water, 20 million displaced. 

Daniel Toole of Unicef has described the flooding in Pakistan as ''probably the biggest emergency on the planet today'' and added that food aid reaching people was ''not enough''. Six million people are in need of immediate assistance, UN officials have said. 

BOB will be donating $1.50 from any Brasserie Bread bought this month from BOB and every BOB purchased $1 will go to the Pakistan crisis (UNICEF)

BOB will be doing a collection of appropriate simple clothes (clothing, shoes, socks, linen, blankets are also needed) to be shipped out to Pakistan in containers from 201 Euston Road, Alexandria.

If you would like to donate clothing - PLEASE place in packages should be marked “Pakistan Flood Relief, C/O Consulate General of Pakistan, Sydney". It is requested that donated items are in good/useable condition. If you cannot get to Alexandria please bring these items to my house in North Bondi ASAP. Please make sure they are clean, boxed and addressed as above.  Please email me on bob@bondiorganicbox.com for further information and to request my address.

In 2010 BOB will be acting global by supporting a school in India called Nivana School. www.nirvanaschool.org/ BOB hopes to sponsor 4 children from the school over the next year with your help.

Nirvana School is near Pondicherry, India and was set up by a selfless inspirational lady called Vinodini Samani who after her husband died dedicated to helping the poorest children in India to have a school and education they could be proud of. The school was set up in 1995 and now with help from all over the world 350 children now attend the school.

Children are sponsored for $130 a year. This entitles the child to free schooling, stationary, text books, uniform, sandals and school bag for one year. There are 45 children not sponsored this year that need our help..most are 2-3 years of age.

In July BOB is supporting The Royal Hospital For Women Foundation www.rhwfoundation.com.au

The only women's hospital in the state, the foundation raises vital funds for research, education and special needs of the hospital. Each year the Royal Hospital for Women cares for more than 800 premature and critically ill babies, treats 350 women for gynaecological cancer in the breast centre and cares for 10,000 women and delivers 4,000 babies!!
